“Orsknefteorgsintez” is going to increase production of bitumen in 2010 by 40%.
Orenburg. OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” (ONOS, the major refinery in the Orenburg region) is planning to produce this year 156 thousand tons of bitumen – 40% more than a year earlier, according to the statement made by a representative of the company’s press-service to RIA “Novosti” on Wednesday.
In connection with the seasonal market demand OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” put the bitumen unit into operating mode. ONOS, the only manufacturer of bitumen in the Orenburg region is ready to ship about one thousand tons daily. “The product is shipped both to the domestic market and for export”, said the interviewee.
OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” is a subsidiary refinery of the company “RussNeft”. Production capacity of the plant is about 6.6 million tons a year. The set of technological processes permits to produce about 30 types of product.
