"Orsknefteorgsintez" assigned more than 2 million rubles for the veterans of war
Orsk. "Orsknefteorgsintez" (a subsidiarty of NK "RussNeft") assigned more than 2 million rubles for bonuses and presents to its former employees, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and oil chemists of the war years. 38 front-line soldiers and 304 veterans of home front celebrated the 65th jubilee of the Great Victory. Among them there were bearers of highest governmental awards: Order of Lenin , Order Red Star Order, Order of the Great Patriotic War.
On the eve of the Victroy Day the friont-line soldiers received 5 thoucand rubles each, and the workers of home front - 2 thousand rubles each. The vompany assigned funds for repair of the veterans' lodgings, medical inspection and health improvement at the sanatoriums of the city.
The day before the oilmen - participants of war actions and workers of the home front - were officially presented jubilee medals and gifts. The veterans who could not tae part in the festive event due to pure health were presented the gifts at home by the employees opf the company. "Memory Album", relating about every veteran of the plant had been being prepared for 2 years During the week there will be held formal events, concerts and entertainments for the veterans of the plants.
