"Belkamneft" launched a line oil heater running on natural gas
Izhevsk OAO "Belkamneft" - a subsidiary of NK "RussNeft" - put into operation at Butanovskoye oilfield a line oil heater running on natural gas, which saves up to 5 million rubles per year. This is the information received from the press-service of the company.
Earlier the company used crude oil as the stock for oil treatment unit /OUT/. Putting into operation of the line heater running on natural gas permitted to give up transporting of commercial oil from Smolnikovskoye oilfield, to reduce paymentd for environmental pollution, to improve considerably the ecology of the region. Cost advantages will amount to 5 million rubles per year.
This is the seconf gas line heater put into operation. In the beginning of 2010 the company completed start-up works for the the third and the last line heater running on natural gas at the oil treatment unit "Yuski".
The new equipment will permit to reduce the emissions resulted from sulfurous oil flaring, sell additionally more tha 730 tons of oil per year and to reduce considerably the number of cruising oil carriers.
According to the message of RIA TEC OAO "Belkamneft" is planning in 2010 to assign 742 million rubles to financing of ecological measures
