Khanty-Mansiisk. NK “Aki-Otyr” , a subsidiary of NK “RussNeft” has increased oil production 1.5 times up to 535 thousand tons during the 5 months of 2010, says the company’s report. Production growth resulted from increasing oil production output at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields.

The company is carrying on intense production drilling works. From the beginning of 2010 there was built 11 new wells, among them three ones with horizontal hole section. The average daily flow rate of horizontal wells amounts to 117 tons per day, that of directional wells – 56 tons per day.  Before the end of 2010 it is planned to have put into operation 37 more new wells.
 The oilmen implement at the oilfields the programs of geological and engineering measures and wells overhauling. Fromm the beginning of the year there have been conducted 5 formation hydrofracturing operations which gave the efficiency of 16 tons per day, one well was put into operation with the efficiency of 22 tons per day.

In the beginning of the year  at Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield there was out into operation the formation pressure maintenance system including three injection wells.

Technological works as well  expansion of production infrastructure of the oilfields which are implemented by NK “RussNeft” within the frames of the project of development of Shapshinskaya group of oilfields will enable NK “Aki-Otyr“ to reach the target annual production level of 1.4. million tons of oil and in the near future to increase this figure up to 2 million tons and more.
