OAO «Belkamneft» ensured the maximum loading of oil pipeline «Vyatka-Ashit»

Izhevsk. OAO «Belkamneft», a subsidiary of OAO NK «RussNeft», ensured the maximum loading of oil pipeline «Vyatka-Ashit». Press service of the company informs that daily 7 thousand m3 of oil produced in the area of Vyatka of Arlanskoe oilfield of OAO «Belkamneft» is transmitted by oil pipeline.

It is recalled that the oil pipeline «Vyatka-Ashit» was put into operation in October 2009. This unique undercrossing project across the Kama river meets all requirements of technical and ecological expert examination. The project was sanctioned by the expert commission of State ecological appraisal. The application of up-to-date technology during the construction, application of the newest measures of the pressure control in the oil pipeline and its intertubular part and also the system of cathode protection of outer side of the oil pipeline increase the environmental safety level and prevent the spectre of spill of oil products in the river.
The executive director of OAO “Belkamneft» Yuri Fedorov said that - such a large scale project is implemented in the territory of Udmurtia for the first time for several decades. We made very important and difficult technological decisions when we the oil pipeline «Vyatka-Ashit» was built. For the first time we used the directional drilling technology which allowed us to carry out works without disturbing the biological balance and to secure the complete environmental safety of water protection and shore sectors.
Also it is noted in the company that the management of the holding and its subsidiaries pays substantial attention to the environmental safety in the production units. OAO «Belkamneft» plans to transfer 742 million rubles to finance environmental events in 2010.
