A solid contribution in the Republic of Udmurtia development.

The President of OAO NK “RussNeft” Mikhail Gutseriev visited Izhevsk. The distinguished guest during his visit discussed with the President of Udmurtia Alexander Volkov growth prospects of OAO “Belkamneft”, a subsidiary of “RussNeft”, and company’s cooperation in social services.

600 students and 100 lecturers of the oil faculty of the State University of Udmurtia shall  begin their studies  next year in a new nine-storeyed building which will be built close to the existing one. There is only one year to complete its construction. During the working session on the construction site Mikhail Gutseriev promised to assign financial resources for work completing. The  total cost of the construction is estimated as 10 million US dollars.
It’s worth to remind  that the facility construction has been lasted for almost 10 years and it was stopped for a year and a half. According to the president of the State University of Udmurtia Semen Bountov it is planned to set laboratories and specialized  studies of oil faculty in the new rooms. The University is in need of such facility for it is the only educational centre in the Republic which trains oilmen.  There is a high demand for this specialty, but the University is able to admit only 25 students per year for oil specialty due to lack of resource base. The students have to study in different facilities and partly in facilities of oil companies where later the students do their practical work. Everyone wishes to have the modern facility with the conditions allowing to provide the best study.
The government got a clear image of future prospects after visit of Mikhail Gutseriev.
From the 1 of September 2011 the oil faculty will be included in the structure of the State University of Udmurtia.
The distinguished guest expressed hope that all these measures would let oil faculty  become a modern faculty.

Meeting with the legend.

The President of Udmurtia with the President of OAO NK “RussNeft” visited the museum named after M.T. Kalashnikov. After viewing the current exposition  Mikhail Gutseriev was introduced to Mihail Timofeevich. The world famous specialist presented him a similarly-named medal of Kalashnikov and his sixth book. In his turn Mikhail Gutseriev thanked Mihail Kalashnikov for  his invaluable contribution of Russia defense capability and presented  commemorative and Toulskij knife.
Mr. Kalashnikov admitted that he still works but his working week lasts only 4 days with 3 weekend days.

Priceless gift for the inhabitants of the Republic.

At the same day Mikhail Gutseriev visited the Republic perinatal centre where the help is provided for mothers and future babies having health problems  from different regions of the Republic. After the visit Mr. Gutseriev announced on the briefing  about allocating from his own funds 1 million US dollars for purchasing resuscitation ambulance cars. 10 fully equipped cars will be purchased– 5 of them are intended for pediatric healthcare and others for adults. The President of Udmurtia marked it as a priceless gift for the inhabitants of the Republic.

Plans and prospects.

Before Mr. Gutseriev’s forced absence the Company allocated on permanent basis its funds for social facilities construction in Udmurtia.
“I’ve known Alexandr Volkov for years and the Company has a long story of cooperation with Udmurtia.  We sponsored the construction of Sviato-Mihajlovskij Cathedral, local zoo and other social facilities. I find that all funds that we have provided are consumed correctly”.
Nowadays we renew our cooperation. Mr. Volkov recognized that no one has invested more in the Republic then Mr. Gutseriev: “ I’m deeply grateful to Mr. Gutseriev for his reliability and honesty in current issues  such as regular and well-timed transferring taxes sum basing on the signed  agreement. This person is able to support  large social projects which are purposed for inhabitant life improvement. The Republic will remember his contribution for years”.
As for the Company plans Mr. Gutseriev noticed that the main issue for the moment is stabilization of work process including resource base improvement, additional wells drilling, geological survey on the existing fields, new technologies introduction and  - the most important – oil production increase. Another issue which is also important for the Company is salary increasing up to 1500 US dollars that would let the employees feel  free and independent.
Mr. Gutseriev and Mr. Volkov spent Tuesday evening opening the show of workmanship competition organized by OAO “Belkamneft”. Next day  after  the visit to  manufacturing facilities of Vjatka base of OAO “Belkamneft” Mikhail Gutseriev left the Republic.
