General Director of “Varioganneft” passed away

L. Zakharov was born in Baku in 1950. Since 1985 he had worked at “Varioganneft”, starting from the head of technological department up to CEO of a large oil production complex.For his contribution in development of oil and gas industry L.G.Zakharov was decorated with the order of Badge of Honor, the medal “For Exploitation of Mineral Resources and Development of Oil and gas Complex of Western Siberia”, honorary degrees “Honored Geologist of the Russian Federation” and “Honored Official of the Ministry of Fuel and Power of the Russian Federation” and other degrees.   
Civil funeral will take place 06.08.2010 at 17:00 (msc.) at address: ul. Marshala Timoshenko, 25, the Great mourning hall of the Central clinical hospital.
OAO «Varioganneft» is a subsidiary of OAO NK «RussNeft». The company develops 8 oilfields in Khanty-Mansi and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs: Varieganskoe, Kalinovoe, Yuzhno-Kalinovoe, Novo-Aganskoe, Valuninskoe, Tagrinskoe, Zapadno-Vareganskoe, Yuzhno-Yarainerskoe.The recoverable resources are assessed at 174 million tons by 01.01.2010. The level of annual production of the company was 2 million 286 thousand tons in 2009. Net income of OAO «Varioganneft» in2009 in comparison with 2008 grew 4.6 times and amounted to 957 million rubles according to RSA.
