Orsknefteorgsintez assigned more than 13 million rubles to the protection of nature
Orsk. OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez”, a subsidiary of NK “RussNeft”, assigned more than 13 million rubles to the environmental protection measures in the first half-year of 2010.
The main accent of ecological programs was made on protection of air and water basins, recultivation of industrial ground.
Specialists of the enterprise fulfilled reactant treatment of cooling water, assessment of the impact of water abstraction from r. Ural on aquatic biological resources. Equipment for the laboratory of nature protection was acquired. Such measures make it possible to decrease the load on the biological disposal facilities in the town, to improve water environment of Orsk. Internal floating roofs were repaired, which enables the reduction of hydrocarbon emissions into the atmosphere.
Large-scale activities on biological recultivation of exhausted refining earth are being continued. 40 thousand tons of used-up clay was dumped and planned out, tests of soils were selected, chemical and biological reagents were introduced.
