OAO "Belkamneft" introduces new equipment at Patrakovskoure oilfield.
Izhevsk. OAO "Belkamneft", a subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft", has put into operation a vertical steel 1000 m3 tank (VST) at the preliminary water removal unit (PWRU) at Patrakovskoye oilfield. This operation was implemented within the frames of the capital construction program of OAO "Belkamneft" for 2010.
Commissioning of the new equipment permitted to increase the capacity power and to change substantially the work technique of the PWRU. It gave the possibility to improve the process of oil and formation water treatment at the account of prolongation of water-oil emulsion settling time, which resulted in bringing the content of oil products in formation water to normative level.
OAO "Belkamneft" is planning to apply up-to-date technologies and equipment, permitting to efficiently produce, treat and transport hydrocarbons in future too.
