Khanty-Mansiysk. OJSC NAK “Aki-Otyr” (a subsidiary of OJSC NK “RussNeft” (RTS: RUSN) for 9 months of 2010 will increase oil production on Shapsha group of deposits in comparison with the same period of last year in 1,5 times - more than 1 million tons according to the Company’s press release.
The increase of oil production is connected with the implementation of the program of production drilling. Over the past eight months there has been built and put into operation 33 producing wells, including seven wells with horizontal trunks. The average annual rate of horizontal wells is 85 tons per day, directional - 45 tons per day. Until the end of 2010 there is planned to drill 15 more wells.
In addition, to maintain pressure in Nizhne Shapshinskoye deposit there was put into operation six recharge wells and four wells - in Verkhne Shapshinskoye deposit. "The measures taken will let not only to keep of the current rates of production increase, but to increase them," noted in a press release.
By the end of 2010, “Aki-Otyr” plans to produce 1.4 million tons of oil at Shapshinskaya group of fields, and soon to reach an annual level of oil production to 2 million tons.
“Aki-Otyr” develops Shapshinskaya group of deposits (includes Verkhne Shapshinskaya, Nizhne Shapshinskaya, Sredne-Shapshinskaya licensed areas) with the overall recoverable hydrocarbon reserves of more than 88 million tons.
