OAO "Ulianovskneft" putting into operation the system of corporative IP telephony
Ulianovsk. OAO "Ulianovskneft" , a producing subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft" is putting into operation the system of internal corporate IP-telephony at the basis of local nets of geographically dispersed subsidiaries of the Company (Department of Oil and Gas Production "Severnoye" and Department of Oil and Gas Production "Yuzhnoye").
Introduction of the system of IP-telephony became possible due to setting up in Ulianovsk of a new up-to-date automated telephone station and appointment of a single supplier of Internet services. Within the frames of the project the company organized intra-regional corporate telephone communication and created the basis for further inner communication services.
Putting into operation of the system of corporate IP-telephony will secure more reliable exchange of information between the oilfields and the head office, reducing the time of making decisions and raising efficiency and transparency of management. Besides, reliability and quality of communication will be improved significantly. Furthermore, there is a chance to reduce operating costs. Thus, introduction of corporate IP-telephony will enable OAO "Ulianovskneft" tro optimize its costs for service (only for the fisrt monnth of explotation of the system the company saved more tha 25 thousand roubles).
