Charity work of “RussNeft”: annual obligations ae fulfilled in amount of more than 92%.
Saratov. In the course of their meeting in September the governor Pavel Ipatov and the president of OAO NK “RussNeft” Mikhail Gutseriev discussed the priorities of further cooperation of the oil and gas holding and the region. A special accent was made on the substantial contribution of “RussNeft” in solution of social and economic problems of the region. The parties also discussed the charity program of the oil and gas company and its producing subsidiary – OAO “Saratovnegtegas”.
The major benefactor in the region
“RussNeft” has traditionally been one of the major taxpayers and benefactors of the region. This year tax proceedings from the company to the consolidated regional budget will grow by 90.5 million rubles as compared with the target figure and exceed 670 million rubles.
And social investments of “Russneft” in the Saratov region in 2010 will make more than 62 million rubles, and almost one third of this sum – 19 million – will be spent for regional charity programs, which the oilmens are implementing in accordance with the agreement on cooperation between “RussNeft” and the government of the region. By the results of the three quarters “RussNeft” has fulfilled its annual obligations under the agreement by 92%.
-“We work in close and functional cooperation with the government of the region”, - underlines the General Director of “Saratovneftegas” Tagir Latypov. “Our task, that of a large-scale business, is to help the administration in the cases where shortage of budget funds prevents solutions of some problems.”
The priorities for the oil and gas company are development of children’s and mass sports, care of orphaned children, support of veterans. The oilmen assigned substantial funds for construction and reconstruction of churches, improvement of territories, support of social sphere, educational, sport institutions in Marxovsky, Tatishcevsky, Rovensky, Novoburassky, Fedorovsky and Atkarsky districts.
Child welfare
“This year “RussNeft” assigned 6.6 million rubles for organization of summer vacations for more than 100 children from Krasnoarmeisk orphanages. The children spent three summer shifts at the children’s holiday camp “Rovesnik” and during the autumn vacations they will come there again.
The Saratov oilmen’s holiday camp has acted as “summer home” for children from orphanages and low-living families for several years running. For example, in 2009 the kids from Ivanteesky and Krasonarmeisk orphanages lived at “Rovesnik” from June through to August.
“Saratovneftags” also sponsors charity concerts at Saratov conservatoire for children from orphanages and low-living families. In 2006 the executant at such concert was the soloist of Moscow Philharmonic Hall Aleksandr Udaltsov, in 2007 – a Professor of Cologne Higher Musical School Peter Dikke. In 2008 – a professor of Paris Conservatoire Domenico Severin. And this year, on the eve of The Knowledge Day 450 children from 27 orphanages and boarding schools enjoyed the music performed by an outstanding organist, professor of honors of Paris and Versailles Francis Vidil.
The oilmen never forget the youngest – not so long ago the kindergarten in the settlement of Lysye Gory received sets of developing games and cuddly toys.
Sports projects of oilmen
Sponsoring of mass sports in the Saratov region occupies important place in the policy of social responsibility of the oil and gas company “RussNeft”.
In particular, this year “RussNeft” and “Saratovneftegas” have become general sponsors of the IX football tournament among neighborhood teams for the Governor’s Cup, in which thousands of boys and girls from many districts of the Saratov region took place. The oilmen assigned 1 million rubles for organization of the tournament.
In March OAO “Saratovneftegas” sponsored the kickboxing championship of Volga Federal Okrug More than 400 sportsmen from several districts of VFO took part in it. It was the fifth of intra-regional kickboxing championships which was held in Saratov and was sponsored by the oilmen. “RussNeft” and “Saratov” assigned more than 1.4 million rubles for development of kickboxing in the region.
Balakovo club “Turbina”, one of the leaders of Russian speedway, received from “RussNeft” one million rubles. Now the club is one of “visiting cards” of Saratov sports at all-Russian and international levels. For example, in the beginning of October “Turbina” won the European Speedway Championship Cup in Hungary.
The oilmen also sponsored the Saratov region team which participated in the XIX open championship of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and the championship of the All-Russian Fire Control society for fire-fighting. The Saratov sportsmen returned with prizes: the senior team occupied the third place, and the junior team won the second prize.
Our veterans
“Saratovneftgas” has always paid special attention to “the golden fund of the humanity” – our veterans. The oilmen dedicated a special program to support the war and home front veterans on the eve of the Victory Day.
Before the 9th of May “Saratovneftegas” acquired vouchers to sanatorium “Vesna” for 30 war and home front veterans of Sovetsky district. The aged people were given the vouchers during a formal celebration/ Now they can not only improve their health but to socialize and relax.
In order to support its former employees "Saratovneftegas" annually makes financial payments, arranges celebrations in honor of war and home front veterans, assigns financial help on the basis of pensioners' applications for treatment and emergency needs. In particular, 2 million rubles was assigned for fuinancial help to non-working pensioners of the company before the International Day of the Elderly. The volume of financial support almost doubled as compared with the last year.
Besides, the company assigns funds for targeted help to the Soviets of Veterans of the region. In June "Saratovneftegas" presented a Volkswagen to the war veterans of Rovensky district - for trips to health, culture and social service institutions.
Among the priorities of its charity work “RussNeft” will always number immortalization of war and labor heroic deeds of our veterans. For example, at the year of the 65-th jubilee of the Victory “RussNeft” and “Saratovneftegas assigned more than 460 thousand rubles for reconstruction of the memorial complex “Silent Bell” and Eternal Fire at the district center Rovnoye.
And for the second stage of reconstruction of the park in the settlement of Stepnoye of Sovetsky district “RussNeft assigned 1 million rubles. The park was named after the outstanding Saratov oilman U.S.Lusianin (1935-2009) Now the central park is becoming one of the largest green woods of Sovetsky district.
"RussNeft" and "Saratovneftegas" during a number of years have been rendering financial support to the museum complex "Neftegasenergetika" in Saratov. The exposition of the museum reflects labor achievements of the pioneer oilmen in the Saratov Region.
The oilmen also sponsored another museum 0 the museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Saratov displaying unique information about the history of law-enforcement bodies of the city.
