Ulyanovsk. OJSC “NK” RussNeft”, a member of the ten largest oil companies in Russia, in 2011 is planning to increase investments in oil production in the Ulyanovsk region fourfold in comparison with the current year - up to 1 billion rubles, the company said.
President of “RussNeft” Mikhail Gutseriev and the regional governor Sergey Morozov at a meeting on Friday has defined the priorities of further cooperation between the oil and gas holding company and the region. In particular, this year the Ulyanovsk block of “RussNeft” plans to increase hydrocarbon production by 5% compared with last year, overall production will be 581.5 thousand tons of oil.
In this year the amount of capital investments of the company in Ulyanovsk region will reach 257.3 million (an increase on 90% by 2009). In this case, for conducting of geophysical operations, in particular, for developing of fields and the program of geological and technical measures implementation in this year it will be sent 32 million rubles (an increase on 30% by 2009).
According to the president of “RussNeft”, production of company’s enterprises in Ulyanovsk region will reach 1 million tons of oil per year by 2013.
"Herewith the volume of investments in 2011 will increase by four times and will be 1 billion rubles," – it is said in a report.
