Gas rescue service team practices different scenarios of supposed emergency situations
Orsk. “Orsknefteorgsintez”, a subsidiary enterprise of NK “RussNeft”, conducted regular emergency response drills on fire safety.
Gas rescue service team of oil refinery mastered operational actions on liquidation of emergency situation – oil spill from unsealed reservoir with a volume of 100 thousand tons at raw materials base of the enterprise.
In the process of planned operations, maximally approximating reality, the rescuers installed 2 lease tanks (5 and 10 cubic meters) and connected oil gathering vessel. The team successfully managed with the set tasks and coped 10 minutes earlier than the planned norms.
Since the start of the year more than 150 practical drills and studies practicing different scenarios of supposed emergency situations were carried out on the territory of oil refinery by gas rescue team and firemen.
