Orsk. OAO "Orsknefteorgsintez", a subsidiary of OAO NK "RussNeft" have assigned, from the beginning of the current year, more than 5 million rubles in the measures for protection of Orsk water pond.
Measures for assessment of efficiency of the fish protecting structure during pumping out of water for industrial needs were carried out at the local water intake of the Ural river.
The accredited nature protection laboratory of the Orsk refinery was equipped with instruments for the sum of more than 1 million rubles: analyzers for liquids and suspended substances, oxygen meter, cryothermostat and others. The new instruments permit to raize the efficiency of work, to improve quality control of laboratory studies, which results not only in economical effect, but ecological effect as well.
The nature protection laboratory of ONOS has successfully passed the interstate comparison testing for determination of the indices of water mineral composition, arranged by the Ural branch of the Scientific Research Institute for Metrology.
