“Agannftegasgeologia” adopted a program for assosiated gas utilization

Nizhnevartovsky District, KhMAO. “Aganneftegasgeologia” – a subsuduary of OAO NK “RussNeft” adopted a program for associated gas utilization for 2010-2012. The main volime of works is planned at three license areas: Zapadno-Mogutlorsky, Mokhnikovsky and Yeguriakhsky. This is the information received by the agency from the press-service of the company.

A gas pipeline 15,6 km lomg will be built from the CPF of Mokhtikovskoye oilfield to gas turbine power station of Zapadno-Poludennoye oilfield (“Tomskneft” VNK, a subsidiary of OAO “Rosneft”).

Construction works are being started in February and will be carried by the two companies jointly. In future “Aganneftegasgeologia” is planning to install at the Mokhtikovskoye oilfield a gas piston station for generation of electric power for their own needs.  

At the territory of CPF of Zapadno-Mogutlorskoye oilfield it is planned to build a compressor station and a gas pipeline five km long, from the CPF of Zapadno-Mogutlorskoye oilfield to the point of tie-in in the gas pipeline KS “Pjvkhovskaya” – Lorosovsky gas processiNg plant.Transporattopn of the gas to gas processing plant “Lukoil – Western Siberia” will be done with the help of compressor.  

Implementation of this program will enable “Aganneftegasgeologia” to have utiizwed by 2012 up to 95% of associated petroleum gas from Mokhtikovsky and Zapadno-Mogutlorsky license areas. The company is also planning to increase utilization at Yeguriakhsky license area at the account of puttiong into operation of the eigth module of gas piston unit “Jenbacher” .
