ОАО «Ulyanovskneft» re-activates the well №33 at Verkhozimskoye oilfield

In particular, there was re-activated the well №33 at Verkhozimskoye oilfield. Due to production casing leaks at well 33 there began ingress of sand in the interval of 390 meters. As a result, there was a failure of the underground equipment. The well was transferred to the fund of idle, then inactive. An accident of the type could lead to spudding of the second borehole and even to well abandonment. Emergency equipment was removed, at the moment final works are carried out.
Verkhozimskoye oilfield was discovered in 1954. In 1977, after 20 years of conservation, it was once again put into operation. In 2010 the mining of the deposit amounted to 167,7 thousand tons, that makes 88,3% of the total production of NGDU "Penzaneft". The production rate of well № 33 of Verkhozimskoye oilfield makes 13 tons per day.
In March this year it's planned to put the well into operation.
