OAO “Ulyanovskneft” is getting ready for flood period

Activities are aimed at protection of facilities from flooding and destruction from flood waters. Strengthening of roadways and of approach roads are being fulfilled as well as cleaning of waste-pipes. Boardering of oil production facilities is being restored and enhanced. Power lines are being checked. Plan of readiness of facilities during flood period includes 115 items. 

In particular, special measures of protection will be applied to Repyevskoye oilfield. It is located in floodplain of the Syzranka river. During flood period ice drifts are formed on the river. This becomes the reason of overflowing. Well №8 of Repyevskoye oilfield and district village Novospasskoye are under threat of flooding. In the event of the threat of flooding of these objects OOO “Geophysist”, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO “Ulyanovskneft”, will carry out demolition works to clear congestions on the river.
