“RussNeft” plans to increase oil production at Tomsk region 2.6 times and will double investments in 2011

Tomsk. “RussNeft” (RTS:RUSN) in 2011 plans to produce at Tomsk region 735 thousand tons of oil, general director of ZAO “Tomskaya neft” (enters into “RussNeft”) Nail Garipov said on Wednesday at the meeting in Tomsk region administration.

“In 2009 enterprises of “RussNeft” at Tomsk region produced 189 thousand tons, total output in 2010 at all enterprises amounted to 286 thousand tons, plans for 2011 – are to increase production to 735 thousand tons”- said N.Garipov. Thus, as a result, the company will increase oil production in the region 2.6 times.
N.Garipov also said that in 2011 the company plans to increase investments in the region 2 times – up to 3.06 billion rubles.
He explained to reporters that, inter alia, “RussNeft” expects to complete in 2011 the construction of a pipeline 146km long from the developing Stolbovoye oilfield to Verkhne-Salatskoye field, where there is already an entry to AK “Transneft” system (RTS:TRNF).
He said that in 2011 at Stolbovoye field it is also planned to build oil treatment plants and oil handling.
In addition, this year will begin and be completed in 2012 the construction of gas engine generator plant at Stolbovoye oilfield with a capacity of 17.6 MW.
