OAO “Ulyanovskneft” summarized the first results of the environment activity program

Ulyanovsk. OAO “Ulyanovskneft”, a production subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK “RussNeft”, summed up the results of implementation of environmental activities in the first quarter of 2011.

In the first quarter a set of measures was realized on improvement of reliability of equipment aimed at prevention of emergency situations. In particular pigging of oil pipeline was organized at oil and gas production department (NGDU) №1 “CPF “South” – ATU” 11.437 km length. Total overhaul of stand-up reservoir of Varvarovskoye oilfield was fulfilled.
To ensure gas supply of OUT “Severnaya” boiler-house works were carried out on the system of collection and preparation of associated petroleum gas (APG) of the Northern group of oilfields. At Varvarovskoye oilfield works were started to increase the percentage of APG use at Central Production Facility. The construction of gas equalizing lines of storage tanks of OUT “Severnaya” took start. 1436 bird guards were installed at power transmission line towers. Monitoring of the condition of underground sources in the areas of activity of the enterprise in the first quarter showed that drinking water meets all sanitary norms.  
Within the frames of the environment activity program ecological policy of OAO “Ulyanovskneft” was developed and approved. It provides education of employees in terms of importance of protecting of natural environment, minimizing of technogenic burden and restoration of environment.
Altogether in the first quarter 18 682.66 thousand rubles was spent on environmental activities by Ulyanovsk block enterprises.
