Moscow. In 2010 oil production of ОАО "NK "RussNeft" has increased by 2,2% and made 12,962 million tons, it is said in the report of the Company. The main reason for the increase, as noted, was the successful implementation of large-scale drilling programs. In 2010 the refining throughput grew by 2% as compared to 2009 and made 5,134 million tons.
"RussNeft" carries out oil exploration and production in Russia on the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk AO, Yamalo-Nenets AO, Republic of Udmurtia, Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk, Saratov, Volgograd, Penza and Kirov Regions. As it is reported, in order to eliminate the tendency of production decline, which was observed during the year 2009, in 2010 "RussNeft" has intensified its investment program, with the main emphasis on drilling program. At the same time in 2011 the prospective exploitation rate makes 13,6 million tons. The volume of capital investments in production will make 481 million dollars, which exceeds similar indexes of the year 2010 by 147 million dollars. That said, the major areas of investments will be the maintenance of the program of intensive drilling, and also accompanying infrastructure development of the oilfields, the report says.
