"Orsknefteorgsintez " arranged fire tactical exercise.
Orsk. OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez”, a subsidiary of NK “RussNeft” arranged fire tactical exercise. Among the participants of the event there were representatives of the main department of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Orenburg Region.
According to the plan of the exercise a reservoir at the stock base of the plant “had a leakage” and more than 8 thousand cubic meters was spilled.
The personnel of the refinery competently and consistently demonstrated their readiness for acting in an emergency. They performed monitoring of contamination of the atmosphere in the area of the “spillage”. Gas rescuers performed foam attacks cooling the oil spot. To make an obstacle in the possible way of the oil spill there was made a landfilling. The oil was collected in two modular wireframe reservoirs. The contaminated soil was collected and transported to an industrial wastes dosposal site. New soil was brought to replace it.
The results of the exercise demonstrated that the equipment and professionalism of the refinery personnel ebable them to cope efficiently with emergency situations. The supervisors, and among them, apart from the representatives of the Main department of the Ministry of Emergencies, teachers from Novomoskovsk Institute of Manaers Upgrading and specialists of the chemical industry, specialists from Rospromnadzor, ointed it put.
