"Varioganneft" implements the program of horizontal drilling at Variogan oil field
Raduzhniy, KhMAO. In ОАО «Varioganneft» there was started a project of horizontal drilling at Variogan oil field. The first stage, after the performance of rig works and other preparatory works, became the drilling of the advance borehole № 2421.
As of August 3, the sinking made 1100 meters, casing string was run into a borehole, there was carried out casing cementing, as reported the press-service of “Varioganneft”.
At this point of project development the drilling is carried out in cluster site № 210 for horizon Б8-2. The drillers work ahead of schedule, at the end of the month the pilot holing at Variogan will be finished, the length of the pilot hole will make 2536 meters. The expected project production from each of the drilled wells is 80 tons.
Before the year is out, in Variogan oil field it’s planned to drill 3 new wells at well pads №№ 210, 103 and 3, based on the results of pilot drilling their number may increase up to 5 wells.
