“Oilman” – that has a proud sound! Labor dynasties at OAO “Saratovneftegas” keep extending!

Anastasia Grigorchik is a graduate of Saratov Boarding Liceum for natural sciences. Her mother. Natalia Nikolaevna Grigorchik and other members of their family have  for many years worked at OAO “Saratovneftegas”. And now Nastia is going to extend the family tradition. She has always been fond of exact sciences, and last year she decided for herself to enter a technical university. She was not sure what exactly eductional institution  she would choose, but her mother told her about the preparatory courses  which were started   at “Saratovneftegas”. And the decision was made. It would be so intersting – to go to Moscow, to study at a famous university,  to live in a hostel, on her own, to become self-dependant!..

Nastia’s mother says  it is extremely helpful for the family that the Company will pay for her daugjter’s education. And the fact that there will be no job-hunting after graduation is also very important. According to the contract signed between OAO NK “Russneft  and the University the Company guarantees employment to the graduates. And it is no secret, that these are parents  who suffer most searching jobs for their children.

Nastia says that  during the year they were taught by wonderful Moscow teachers: senior teacher from the Chair of Higher Mathematics Tatiana Alekseeva and Professor of the Chair of Physics Oleg Bondar, who made an unforgettable impression on the students by his  artistic manner of explanation. All the issues, not quite clear from school became understandable. No blank points remained. And it was a great help in the process of passing USE. Nastia’s future profession – “Physical processes in oil and gas production”. And she is sure that her studying in the Gubkin University will be successful  because of high qualification of the teachers, their friendly approach and support. The main thing is to determine the target and do your best to reach it.  Nastia has already determined for herself some trends of her future work – improving methods of oil and gas production, oil refining – there is so much to do. Besides, she so lucky in comparison with hr school-fellows: they have to spend the whole summer trying to enter iniversities and colledges and she has time to rest and gain strength before the first year which promises to be difficult.

      The town of Stepnoye is 120km far from Saratov. A major gas field, discovered in the Volga steppe became a piece of luck for the province settltment, the beginning of a new life. Oil and gas workers converted a ofrlorn settlement into a town with many-storeyed buildings. “Stepnoye” is the integrate part of “Saratovneftegas”.

Andrei Zinoviev, a graduate of Stepnoye school No 2, the winner of many school competitions in mathematics and physics, finished school with a gold medal. He is among the lucky   ones who in September will come to study to the Russian State University named after Gubkin – that group of young boys and girls whose education will be paid for by OAO NK “RussNeft”.

Anderei’s mother. Tatiana Dalerievna Zinovieva is happy to know that her son will get excellent education. The only thing which troubles her is that the boy will have to go so far, to Moscow. But she believes in Andrei, she knows he is a clever kid and he fully deserved the right to study in Moscow.

If everything goes smoothly in Andrei’s education and his further career (and we don’t doubt it does!) he will become a representative of the f i f t h generation in his family whose work is closely connected with oil and gas industry. His grandmother, Taisia Ivanovna, thinks it quite natural. It was her grandfather who started working at “Saratovneftegas” as a drillman. Her farther was a carpenter  at Zavolzhsk Utility vehicles department. She herself has worked at “Saratovneftegas” for her life too. And Andrei sine his childhood had    listened to the adults’ talks which had always touched on the same subject – the enterprise. His father, Vladimir Gennadievich Zinoviev, deputy  foreman of Levoberezhny oil and gas treatment and transporation shop of “Saratovneftegas” says tyat the boy was always very interested about their work. So he has chosen his future job quite consciously. Andrei’s grandfather, Gennadi Mikhailovich started working at “Saratovneftegas” in 1964, he has covered the way from an production operator  to repairand mounting  shop manager. Andrei is going to become a manager too. Of course, he realizes that he will have to work hard and gain experience first. He is looking forward to strat studyiung at RSU named after Gubkin.

Studentship seems to be the happoest period of everybodie’s life. OAO NK “RussNeft” did its best to give the former schoolchildren the possibility to receive knowledge necessary for entering Gubkin Oil and Gas University. Now the new-baked students have to do their best. Positive results have already been got: One of young specialists of OAO “Saratovneftegas”, a post-graduate of the University, has become the winner of the 11^th all-Russian concourse “The Engineer of the Year”.

The results are encouraging: the future of the Company and the future of the branch are in safe keeping! The first stage of bringing up future qualified specialists has been launched. Good luck!

- This project of training future students was developed under personal initiative of the president of OAO NK “RussNeft” Mikhail Gutseriev. The Company payes special  attention to training of the young generation of oilmen. We a proud with the fact that it was our enterprise which was chosen for the regional training department. We have a good staff training center and the process education was going on the base of it. I am sure it is a long-term project, because the demand for qualified personnel exists currently and will exist in future. At present “RussNeft” works in 11 regions of Russia and CIS countries. It is possible that similar projects will be launched in those regions too. Such training courses help children to learn closely what are the requirements of metropolitan universities, raise their training level, pass USE successfully and enter a university. My hearty greetings to the “freshmen” !We are waiting for them to come for practice and later – for real work. Employment for them is guaranteed.
