Khanty-Mansiysk, KhMAO. ОАО «NAK «AKI-OTYR» (a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK «RussNeft») is actively increasing the number of production wells.
As OAO MPC “ANGG” press-service reported to the news agency "Tyumenskaya Liniya", the works are being carried out within the framework of the production and development program in Shapshinskoye group of fields. High rate of production drilling contributed to hydrocarbon production growth. Within seven months of 2011 the enterprise has extracted 776,131 thousand tons of oil.
Production drilling is carried out on five well pads of the three fields within the group: Verkhne-Shapshinskoye, Sredne-Shapshinskoye and Nizhne-Shapshinskoye. For seven months of the year the enterprise has put into operation 21 new wells, including 8 with horizontal length. The daily production rate of horizontal wells made 65 tons per day, and the production rate of directionally drilled wells with hydraulic fracturing – 55 tons per day. By the end of the year the enterprise is going to put into operation 46 new wells, including 11 horizontal.
Together with the drilling works in the oil fields of AKI-OTYR, there’s carried out enhanced oil recovery. For seven months, there were carried out six geological and technical measures, which contributed to the increase in production equal to 1 839 tons. It stands to specifically mention the hydraulic fracturing in borehole № 2170 of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oil field. There was pumped 300 tons of propping agent in well put into production after drilling. This activity is one of the most large-scale operations on hydraulic fracturing, performed in the oil fields of NK “RussNeft”.
Much attention is paid to geological study of subsurface resources. Thus, in Sredne-Shapshinskoye and Nizhne-Shapshinskoye oil fields, in the area of 250 km2, there was carried out seismic survey in 3-D. The interpreted results will provide the basis for the exploration and production drilling in future.
Successful implementation of production drilling programs, geological and technical measures, and geological survey of the resources of Shapshinskoye group of fields, will allow AKI-OTYR to produce 1 420 tons of oil in 2011, and to perform the planned figures.
