XXVIII Olympics of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz" was held

For victory in two sports – mini-football and volleyball – there struggled teams of all departments and subsidiary enterprises of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz". More than 200 athletes and fans took part in the Olympics.
The competitions among the organization departments of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz" are traditionally held twice a year. They are preceded by the departmental matches, the winners of which defend the honor of their teams in the Olympics.
Corporate sports are an important part of social policy of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz". Such events allow every employee to feel part of a single, close-knit team, which maintains the common cause. The best part is that both minor executives and managers of the enterprise compete on equal terms in the Olympics. Competition funding, which includes trainings and competitions, purchase of new equipment and prizes are put in social program of ОАО "Saratovneftegaz".
The support of sport by the oil workers is not limited only to internal competitions. In 2011 ОАО "Saratovneftegaz" has acted as an official sponsor of the town cultural and sporting event "Saratovskaya Lyzhnya", and also became the primary sponsor of the Open Championship of the Saratov Region, dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of Y.Gagarin’s spaceflight.
Besides, in 2010 ОАО "Saratovneftegaz" has provided funds for the organization and improvement of the summer tourist camp of the equestrian school “Allure”, the town of Marks of the Saratov Region. There was given financial support to the children’s football team "Shturm" of Fyedorovskiy District, purchased sports equipment for the teenage sports club "Bogatyr" of the Students Activity Center of the Volzhsk District of Saratov.
