ОАО «Ulyanovskneft» begins reconstruction operations of Oil Treatment Unit (OTU) – 500 «Severnaya»

 Within the framework of the program on utilization of associated petroleum gas, ОАО «Ulyanovskneft», a subsidiary enterprise of ОАО NК «RussNeft», is carrying out works on reconstruction of OTU – 500 “Severnaya”.
In particular, there was started basement construction for oil and gas separator of the first stage of separation. There were made capital repairs on the chimney-pot of the boiler-house, installed a light post.
Besides, in the OTU-500 “Severnaya” there was installed and waits for connection the hydrocarbon vapor recovery system. At the moment there’s carried out work on pipe-fittings of vapor recovery system.
The vapor recovery system will allow to reduce hydrocarbon emission from the storage tanks to atmosphere and to use them as fuel in the boiler-house of the OTU-500 “Severnaya” that will significantly improve the environmental situation on the territory of the production site of the enterprise.
Also in September in OTU-500 “Severnaya” it’s planned to carry out internal anticorrosion treatment of Stand-up reservoir 200 №1.
