Moscow. Oil production throughput of “RussNeft” inth first half of 2011 grew by 4% as compared with the analogous period of the last year and amounted to 6.552 million tons. So says the press-serviceof “RussNeft”.
In the report period “RussNeft” continued oil exploration and production at the territory of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug , Yamalo-Netents Autonomous okrug, the republics of Bashkortostan and Udmurtia, the Ulianovsk, the Saratov, the Volgograd, the Penza, the Kirov regions. Business geography of the holding didn’t change in 2011.
In the first half of 2011 the company started continuous implementation of the long-term strategy of development, approved by shareholders of “RussNeft” in December 2010. Its main trends are hydrocarbon production growth, geologic exploration, development of gas projects. In 2011 the holding is planning to achieve substabtial growth od hydrocarbon stock production (up to 13 600 million tons) at the account of extensive drilling at new oilfields and implementation of the program of geological and engineering operations. In 2011 the volume of investments in implementation of production programs will reach 16 billion rubles, 9 billion of which is assigned for drilling. In the first half year of 2011 the company was carring on extensive drilling in Western Siberia, Udmurtia, the Ulianovsk and the Saratov regions. Thus, this year in Udmurtia “RussNeft” is planning to put into operation 35 new wells at 7 oilfields: Centralnoye, Yuskinskoye, Pionerskoye, Korobovskoye, Patrakovskoye, Oblastnovskoye and Tukamachevskoye. Extra production at the account of putting new wells into operation will amount to 333.427 thousan tons of oil.
