ОАО «Belkamneft» sponsored the VI Intellectual Games Championship among schoolchildren in Udmurtia

More than 100 children playing in 17 teams from 10 municipal units of the district participated in the competition. The young pros were offered to answer questions in succession, a sporting version of the game “What? Where? When?” For the discussion of each question there was given only one minute. All participants received prizes from the company «Belkamneft».
The best result, 16 correct answers out of 24, showed the team «GRANDPAgarten», bringing together students of grades 10 – 11 of the Karakulino school. Their younger colleagues from «We’ll be back!» (grades 8-9), who answered 15 questions, became the silver prize-winners. Last year’s champions, «6 shots» (grades 8-11), who gave one right answer less, closed the top three winners. The same result showed the children from «All-inclusive» (grades 10-11), but the degree of complexity of their questions was lower.
The support of educational projects is among the basic priorities of social policy of NК «RussNeft». For ten years the company sponsors children’s sports school «BelkamMotosport», which is attended by more than 800 children from eight districts of the Republic.
In August 2011 the doors of Oil and Gas Institute of the Udmurt State University, which was built with the personal support of the President of the oil holding Mikhail Gutseriev, were opened to the students. All in all in 2011 ОАО NК «RussNeft» is going to direct 189, 75 million for the republican charitable and social programs.
