“Belkamneft” has carried out the reconstruction of sludge tanks at Oil Treatment Unit “Balaki”

The carried out actions will allow to provide safe storage of sludge tanks, guarantee strict observance of ecological norms, and also to considerably prolong service life of sludge tanks.
Subsequently all saved up sludge tank will be processed on own modern installation for slum recycling, which was launched at Viatskaya area of Arlanskoye oilfield in 2010.

OAO "Belkamneft" constantly gives special attention to maintenance of ecological safety during oil production and transportation. At the enterprise the system of monitoring of a state of environment operates successfully, constant control over a technical condition of oil pipelines is carried out, scale doctrines under the prevention of emergency situations of technogenic character and liquidation of their consequences are regularly carried out. In total on realization of ecological programs and nature protection actions OAO "Belkamneft" has directed more than 545 million rubles for 9 months 2011.
