“Varioganneft” realizes the project on introduction of rod well pump units at Zapadno-Varioganskoye and Tagrinskoye oilfields

By replacing ESP units with rod well pumps, the enterprise managed to reduce expenses for well operation and ESP rent and also to increase uptime refusal of submersible equipment by 3 times.
For nine months of the current year at oilfields of Varioganskoye block of oilfields 25 rod well pumps have been installed, including, at Tagrinskoye oilfield 11 wells, at Zapadno-Varioganskoye – 14 wells.
Till the end of the year at these two oilfields it is planned to bring the number of wells, equipped with rod well pumps, to 40 units, all of them will be dismantled from the wells of Varioganskoye oilfield working on other ways of operation. Realization of the planned works will allow a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK "RussNeft" to organize oil production process at more effective level and to lower expenses.
