OAO “Varioganneft” passed a certification audit of the Safety and Environment Management System

Representatives of Bureau Veritas Certification conducted audit in 32 structural divisions of OAO “Varioganneft”. During the audit no irregularities with the abovementioned standards were identified. Performance of an audit is planned at OAO NK “RussNeft” and three enterprises, incorporated into the Company’s structure: OAO ‘Varioganneft”, OAO “Belkamneft”, OAO MPK “Aganneftegasgeologiya”. According to the successful results of the audit procedures oil and gas producing holding will obtain a certificate of conformity with the requirements of international standards ISO 14001:2004 и OHSAS 18001:2007.
Safety and Environment Management System allows reduce environmental risks and possible losses associated with them; optimize internal resources, monitor their use; divide powers and responsibilities within the Company more clearly; reduce the number of possible accidents and incidents, and, consequently, reduce financial costs on rectification of the consequences.
