4 million tons of oil produced at the oilfields of OAO “Belkamneft”
Izhevsk Ижевск. On December 9, 2011 the amount of oil produced at the oilfields of OAO “Belkamneft”, a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft” from the beginning of the year reached 4 million tons. The production volume exceeds the target figure by 24.2 thousand tons.
Oil production growth became possible thanks to introduction of new production capacities, application of up-to-date oil production technologies and efficient implementation of a complex of geological and engineering operations at the existing producing well-stock. Since the beginning of the year at the 10 oifields of the company there have been put into operation 29 new wells. The additional production resluted from commissioning of the new wells amounted tp 330.6 thousand tons which is 123% more than the analogous figures of 2010.
The main bulk of OAO “Belkamneft”’s oil is produced at the oilfields with hard-to reover reserves in the conditions of high watercut and wells flow rate reduction, and for this reason the main efforts of the company in 2012 will be focused at maintaining of the achieved production level, application of up-to-date development technologies, investments in the infrastructure development and environmental measures.
