«Varioganneft» exceeded oil production index by 16.3%"

The basic growth in volumes of extraction was provided by the implementation of the development drilling program. Thus, the commissioning of 33 wells allowed the enterprise to provide for the incremental ultimate recovery amounting to 330 thousand tons of hydrocarbon materials. The average daily production rate for new wells made 70 tons, as reports the press service of the subsidiary.
Moreover, the increase in production was boosted by realization of 340 well interventions. The greatest effect was achieved due to the hydraulic fracturing – more than 65 thousand tons per year. Another 45 thousand tons of oil were produced through the implementation of well operation optimization measures (the plan figure is exceeded by 3 times) and 39 thousand tons were plugged back. In general, the effect from the implementation of well interventions program in 2011 is estimated by the enterprise at 604 thousand tons of oil.
In 2011 the Subsidiary has actively carried out work on implementation of the gas program. There were completed design works on the construction of “the preliminary water removal unit Zapadno-Varioganskoye – KS-3 “Varioganskaya” with the supply pipeline of Roslavlskoye field, which is developed by “Aganneftegazgeologia”. The introduction of gas pipeline in 2012 will allow OAO “Varioganneft” to bring the level of associated petroleum gas utilization to 95% in Zapadno-Varioganskoye license area and to improve the environmental situation in the fields. 
In addition, ОАО «Varioganneft» has successfully implemented the large-scale energy saving project. During the year the enterprise managed to save 74 million rubles, including about 50 million rubles - by reducing the cost of unprofitable well stock, about 20 million rubles – by putting the wells, equipped with the electrically driven centrifugal pumps, to the rod pumps in Tagrinskoye and Zapadno-Varioganskoye areas.
Beyond that, last year «Varioganneft» continued its arrangement of engineering infrastructure of the fields. In particular, there was put into operation a modern and comfortable building of administration and living quarters at booster pump station-6 of Variogan oil field.
In 2012 the enterprise is going to produce 2, 927 million tons of oil, to drill 12 new wells in the license areas of Variogan block and to put into operation Novo-Aganskoye field.
