18.01.2012 "Delovoye Obozreniye"

Ulyanovsk. ОАО «Ulyanovskneft», a subsidiary enterprise of ОАО NK «RussNeft», continues implementation of associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization program. In particular, there was implemented gas program for the preliminary water gathering unit of “Novobesovskoye” field.

Technological installations of the 1st stage and 2nd stage separation were upgraded. I&C (instrumentation and control) system, which provides APG separation parameters to the control room, was introduced for monitoring and process management control. Associated petroleum gas is used in mixture with natural gas as fuel in the oil line heater. As part of gas program there are carried out commissioning works in the preliminary water gathering unit of Varvarovskoye field. APG will be used here instead of liquid gas for heating of petroleum liquid in the industrial heater. Besides, in the preliminary water gathering unit «Severnaya» there was finished construction of the 1st stage separation. Separated associated petroleum gas is transported via process pipeline to the oil-heating unit 500 “Severnaya”, where it will be then finally treated and transferred to the boiler-houses. In the preliminary water gathering unit of “Verkhozimskaya” field and the booster pump station of Volodarskoye field there are carried out works on construction of sites for the technological installations of the 1st stage separation, and rigging-up of tools. Commissioning of these units will not only improve ecological situation in the fields, but will also bring a positive economic effect.
