"Aganneftegasgeologia" continues implementation of associated petroleum gas utilization program.

Nizhnevartovsky District, KhMAO. Within the frames of the program at Yeguriakhskoye oilfield mounting of the eighth module of gas piston unit, produced by GE Jenbacher has been completed.

As the press-service of OAO MPC “Agannefegasgeologia” (a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft ) informed ‘URALINFORMBURO”, in the near future mounting of reducing transformer and start-up works will begin.

The eighth module, like all the previous installations,  is produced by the Austrian company GE Jenbacher with special consideration  of the particularities of Yeguriakhskoye oilfield. All the eight modules are able to generate the total power capacity of 6.187 megaWatt, which fact will enable the oilmen to meet the demand of the oilfield  for electric power.

In 2012 implementatiion of associated petroleum gas utilization program at Yeguriakhskoye oilfield will be continued. In the near future the company is going to expand the gas piston power station and put into operation modules 9 and 10 of the gas piston unit. Besides, the company is planning to start construction of oil pipeline “Booster pump station-28 of Yeguriakhskoye oilfield – Booster pump station-2 of Roslavlskoye oilfield”, about 50 km long, to perform reconstruction of booster pump station-28 of Yeguriakhskoye oilfield.  At this facility the company is going to expand the first stage of separation and to build a multi-phase pump station.   

Implementatiion of associated petroleum gas utilization program will enable “Aganneftegasgeologia” to reduce oil production costs and by 2013 to have raised the level of utilization of associated petroleum gas produced at Yeguriakhskoye oilfield up to 95%.
