Varioganneft put the horizontal well on production at Varioganskoye oilfield
Raduzhniy, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft has put on production the horizontal well №2834 at well pad №3 at Varioganskoye oilfield. Oil daily production rate of the drilled well amounted to 59 tons. Horizontal length of a well, which entered formation BV8-2, is 42m.
Varioganskoye oilfield was discovered in 1968. In 2010 there was produced 200-millionth ton of oil since the beginning of the development of Varioganskoye oilfield. However, today this oilfield is still one of the most promising license areas.
Production drilling at this oilfield allows the enterprise ensure stable growth in oil production.
Varioganneft plans to continue the implementation of production drilling program at Varioganskoye block of oilfields. This year it is scheduled to drill 10 new wells at Tagrinskoye oilfield and 2 wells at Novo-Aganskoye. Daily production growth due to input of new wells will be over 530 tons/day.
