25.01.2012 “Vsglyad-Info”

Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegas, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK RussNeft, successfully implements a program of effective utilization of associated petroleum gas. In 2011 along with the reconstruction of GCS and the introduction of new gas pipelines there has been designing and building of gas metering units at Guselskoye, Malonovoovrazhnoye, Generalskoye, Sokolovogorskoye, Gartovskoye and other deposits. 22 units were commissioned.

The above-mentioned activities were implemented within the frames of the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in regard with flared gas flow.
At the main construction-installation and commissioning operations there were involved specialists of OAO Saratovneftegas subsidiary enterprises – ZAO Industrial automation control and ZAO Service-center NP and BO. Installing gas meters to 22 flare lines will accurately determine the associated petroleum gas utilization coefficient. In 2012 this work will be continued.
Construction of priority objects of engineering infrastructure, making it possible to increase the volume of effective use of APG (up to 95 % recycling), by far is the highest priority in the implementation of the short-term program concerning gas projects of OAO NK RussNeft. The volume of investments in its implementation in 2011 in the Povolzhskiy region amounted to 215 million rubles.
The program of APG effective use, implemented at OAO Saratovneftegas, will bring not only tangible economic benefits but also provide an opportunity to improve the environmental situation in the field-development areas.
