ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR starts construction of new wells
Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK RussNeft, starts construction of new wells in cluster № 10 of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield. Their commissioning will let the subsidiary to increase average daily production in Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield by 430 tons; herewith, annual production will increase by 57000 tons.
All in all, it’s planned to drill 15 directional wells and 1 water supply well by the end of the year under production drilling program in cluster № 10. The average well depth will be about 3000 m. Total interval will exceed 111 000 m.
Today construction works of the 10th cluster in Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield are completed and rigging up is coming to an end. Main well construction contractor is OOO RussNeft-Bureniye. At the moment rig works are finishing. Construction of new wells will begin in early March.
In 2012 the subsidiary is going to drill 41 new wells in total. Successful production drilling program implementation will let OAO NAK AKI-OTYR to increase its oil production to 1 800 000 mln tons.
