OAO Saratovneftegaz brings associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization at Malinoovrazhnoye oil field up to 100%

In particular, despite oilfield remote location from major gas lines and towns, the company managed to establish gas consumption system for Saratov Region residents. This way, the derived APG is supplied to the two villages of Tatishev district, Saratov Region - Hlebnovka and Neelovka after passing the two-stage gas separation and meeting GOST requirements. Besides, oil line heater (LH-0.53) was installed and commissioned at the Malinoovrazhnoe gathering station in order to improve oil treatment for transportation, which contributed to APG utilization improvement.

In parallel, gas of Malinoovrazhnoe oil field is successfully used for the region`s agriculture. In January 2012 yet another stage of OAO Saratovneftegaz and OOO Leto 2002 joint project on the year-round vegetables production was set up. Under this project Saratovneftegaz supplies the hothouse facility with 4 mcm of associated and natural gas annually. In 2011 OOO Leto 2002 installed 100 mm polyethylene gas line of 4km with gas metering station itself. In its turn OAO Saratovneftegaz secured supplies of the respective gas volume to the consumers. On January 19, 2012 gas was served to the hothouses.

Currently OAO NK RussNeft gas program is focused on the construction of top-priority engineering infrastructure facilities which allow drastically increasing APG effective use (up to 95% of utilization). 2011 CAPEX for this program in the Volga region was 215 million RUR.

The program of rational and most efficient use of gas resources, which is being implemented in OAO Saratovneftegaz will bring not only notable economical effect but will also make it possible to improve ecology in the districts where producing fields are located.
