Joint educational project of OAO NK RussNeft and the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I. M. Gubkin is going on in Western Siberia

This joint educational project of OAO NK RussNeft and the Russian State University named after I. M. Gubkin, which was initiated by Mikhail Gutseriev, the President of the Company, has started in 2010 already. The first RPD was established in Saratov, and its students became mainly children of employees from OAO Saratovneftegaz and OAO Ulyanovskneft. Successful RPD graduates, having passed the final exams at school, became the first-year students of the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I. M. Gubkin.
In 2011 RussNeft continued implementation of this educational project. Now it covers not only the Volga region, but Western Siberia as well: a similar RPD was opened in Raduzhny on the basis of OAO Varioganneft.
Senior high school students from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, the children of employees from OAO AKI-OTYR and OAO Varioganneft, began their studies. 23 senior high school students had an opportunity to be taught by the University lecturers. RPD training is conducted in accordance with the special education programs, providing not only two off-site sessions during 2011 – 2012, but also serious independent work of senior high school students under the control of the lecturers.
RPD training will let the schoolchildren prepare efficiently to pass the Unified State Examination at school and then enter the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I. M. Gubkin. All training expenses were covered by RussNeft.
This project will allow OAO NK RussNeft to establish effective corporate system for training of specialists for their future work in the Company and its subsidiaries.
