OAO Belkaneft assigned more than 800 million rubles for implementation of environmental measures program
Izhevsk. OAO Belkamneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft in 2011 assigned 825.3 million rubles for implementation of the integrated environmental security program.
The funds were spent for environment protection measures aimed at reduction of pollution, upgrading oil equipment reliability to prevent emergencies with ecological implications. Besides, within the frames of the program, the company is constantly monitoring ecological situation at the mining allotment territories of oilfields.
ОАО Belkamneft pays special attention to implementation of the large-scale Program for Associated Petroleum Gas (APG) Utilization. In 2011 all the oilfields were provided with APG metering stations, installation for APG utilization unit was begun at Vyatskaya area of Arlanskoye oilfield.
Raising of APG utilization level by way of using it in oil treatment systems, as boiler fuel and for electric power generation, performance of ecological management tasks in compliance with the requirements of internation standard ISO 14001:2004 as well as 100% implementation of environmental programs keep being the priorities of environmental activity of OAO Belkamneft in 2012.
