Employees of Varioganneft will undergo work safety training
Raduzhny, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. Employees of ОАО Varioganneft, a subsidiary enterprise of ОАО NK RussNeft, will undergo training on Work Safety Program. Last year more than 60 employees of the subsidiary improved their knowledge in the field of work safety, in 2012 about 80 employees will attend training courses in the training center “Neftyanik”.
Complementary to theoretical training courses “Fire Safety”, “Personal Protective Equipment”, “Investigation of accidents in the enterprise and occupational diseases”, “Principal provisions of labor law”, the employees of the subsidiary will acquire first aid skills.
As provided by the Decree of the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of education of Russia, as well as in virtue of Labor code, every employee of Varioganneft attends work safety training courses no less than once every three years.
Last year in OAO Varioganneft there was implemented corporate HSE management system. The Subsidiary has successfully passed certification audit of Management system.
Work on the development of corporate Management system has been carried out in OAO NK RussNeft for several years.
During this time there was made comprehensive analysis of the existing HSE management system, and was made environmental and industrial risks assessment of the Company. There were prepared corporate documents on Management system, appointed Management system representatives, carried out training of top and medium-level managers, and the staff of the subsidiary enterprises. There were implemented measures on improvement of working conditions and prevention of occupational traumatism and diseases. There were conducted internal audits in the course of which there were eliminated all drawbacks, according to press-service of Varioganneft.
Conformity of Management system with ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 was confirmed by the Certificates, which were awarded to oil company by BUREAU VERITAS Certification Russia in December last year.
