AKI-OTYR performed 3D seismic works at Shapshinskaya group of oilfields in the field season of 2011-2012
Khanty-Mansiisk. OAO NAC AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary of NK RussNeft, in the field season of 2011-2012 performed 3D seismic works at the territories of Verkhne-Sredne-and Nizhne-Shapshinskoye license areas. At present the obtained data are being processed and undergoing integrated interpretation. The information was received from the oil company press-service on March, 16.
The survey will permit to specify geological structure of the deposits under exploitation as well as to perform search of new oil-bearing zones within the limits of the surveyed oilfields. In total, 1442 sq. km was covered by 3D seismic.
Besides, OAO NK AKI-OTYR is successfully performing oilfields appraisal and rehabilitation of mineral resources. As of today, the recoverable resources at the oilfields of Shapshinskaya group by the sum of categories ABC1+C2 are evaluated as 90 million tons.
The company intends to pay special attention to geological survey of the oilfields within Shapshinskoye group in future too. With the existing rate of oil withdrawal (1.8 million tons per year) the reserves of the oilfields will last for 50 years of commercial development.
OAO Neftianaya Aktsionernaya Compania AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, is engaged in oil production and treatment at the territory of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug- Yugra. It develops Shapshinskaya group of oilfields (including
Verkhne-Sredne-and Nizhne-Shapshinskoye license areas) with hydrocarbon net effective pay of more than 88 tons.
OAO NK RussNeft numbers development of Shapshinskaya group of oilfields among the projects strategically important for the Company. Preparation for phased development of three oilfields of the group was completed in 2004-2005. During this period there were built engineering infrastructure objects which enabled to come close to commercial development. In 2006 oil production was started at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield. Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield came onstream in the end of 2008 and Sredne-Shapshinskoye – in May 2009.
In 2010 there were constructed four well pads, more than 20 km of motorways, more than 14 km of high-voltage power lines. A gathering pipeline more than 72 km long was built to provide oil transportation from Verkhne-Shapshinskoye oilfield to oil refining unit 1500 at Nizhne-Shapshinskoye.
In 2010 45 new wells were put in, among them 12 horizontal wells; extra production volume amounted to 314.539 thousand tons. For the same period 11 geological and engineering operations were performed, including five hydrofractions of formation. Oil production at Shapshinskaya group grew by 29% and amounted to 1.386 million tons. Average daily production reached 4.023 thousand tons.
In the current year oil production growth will be resulting from implementation of drilling programs, in particular, it is planned to drill 46 new wells, including 10 horizontal ones. The expected oil production growth will amount to about 212 thousand tons.
From 2009 OAO NAC AKI-OTYR has rendered operator services to ZAO Archneftegeologia and ZAO Niagan Oil. In 2011 the consolidated oil production volume of these companies amounted to 1.5 million tons.
