OAO Saratovneftegas completed introduction of HSE Management System
Saratov. In 2011 OAO Saratovneftegas, an upstream subsidiary of OAO NK Russneft completed introduction of HSE Management System. The Management System is based on international ISO and OHSAS standards, and its compliance with the standards in confirmed by certificates. At present the Management System at the company is maintained in operating status and all the necessary measures are taken for its improvement.
To organize functioning of the Management System OAO Saratovneftegas approved a list of necessary Management System documents, worked out on the basis of corporate documents of OAO NK RussNeft. The company issued a composite book “Documents of HSE Management System of OAO Saratovneftegas” which is a desk book of each employee, linear responsibility for work of the System and obligations and responsibilities of the staff within the frame of their activities were established.
One of the main tasks of the Management System is operational risks management.
To accomplish this task successfully the company worked out a register of hazards and determined the factors which can cause harm to employees and performed risk estimate. Determination of environmental risks helps to prevent pollution and minimize the impact of OAO Saratovneftegas current and planned activity over the environment. For this purpose a register of ecological aspects was worked out.
Internal audit is the most efficient system of control. Its aim is analysis and assessment of the HSE Management System. Internal audit permits to reveal a number of problems which enables to reduce the percentage of failures and penalties in the process of external inspections conducted by state authorities.
Successful production activity of OAO Saratovneftegas in many points depends on its ability to constantly raise the equipment operational performance and at the same time secure environment protection, thus meeting the interests of both the company and OAO NK RussNeft on the whole.
