Aganneftegasgeologiya has completed the implementation of the system of server virtualization.
Nizhnevartovskiy district, KhMAO. The project was implemented within the frames of the program of development of the IT infrastructure of the joint-stock company, aimed at quality improvement and extension of the functions of information services.
The new system is based on the hardware system HP Blade System C7000, external system of data storage НР P2000 Modular Smart Array and software complex Microsoft Hyper-V R2. Mounting, system debugging and its activation was fulfilled by official certified partner of Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard Ugra business automation center.
Integrated implementation of the system of server virtualization made it possible to improve software and hardware implemented fault tolerance, increase the performance of server applications, extend and automate the functions of monitoring of working capacity of information system of the enterprise as well as dramatically reduce the amount of electricity consumed. Works on optimization of the system of virtual virtualization will be continued. Procedures are planned to increase fault tolerance indicators at the level of information services (e-mail, databases, etc.).
