VII scientific and technical conference of young professionals took place in Varioganneft

The basic goal of the annual conference is to identify creative potential and to attract young professionals to solving priority and actual tasks of the Subsidiary.
Projects and scientific researches of the participants were directed towards cost reduction of oil and gas production, as well as towards improvement of enterprise performance. According to press-service of the enterprise, when evaluating the reports, such criteria as relevance, innovativeness, technical solutions and economic impact of project implementation were taken into account.
Following the results of the conference, the first place was taken by the leading software engineer, Denis Shinkevich, for his project "Information gathering optimization and operational performance information reporting". The second place the jury awarded to the deputy director of the laboratory № 3, Anton Chistov, for his project "Energy saving methods when extracting oil from producing-well stock». The third place was shared between a geologist of production unit №1, Roman Ilamov, with the report on "Well logging and introduction of new technologies" and a shift relief technologist of Tagrinskoye field, Shamil Vagapov, who presented his project "Prospects for the use of dual completion in Tagrinskoye field».
All winners were awarded diplomas and prize money. Varioganneft pays special attention to the development of scientific and creative potential of young professionals. In 2012 the prize fund for the winners of the conference has increased. Material rewards were also given to the participants who didn’t win.
Scientific and technical conferencing is an important stage in the development of young professionals. Employees get an opportunity to express their innovative ideas, many of which, when being introduced, will have as early as tomorrow a real economic effect.
