OAO Belkamneft celebrates an anniversary
Izhevsk. OAO Belkamneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, celebrates its 15th anniversary on April 30. Belkamneft is currently a major oil producing company in its region. The company has a successful oil production and treatment in 16 districts of Udmurtia republic, Bashkortostan and Kirov region. OAO Belkamneft produced over 4.2 million tons of oil in 2011 making its own record and exceeding 7% the level of 2010.
Over 800 million rubles were allocated for environmental programs implementation merely in 2011.
OAO Belkamneft keeps the second place among the major tax payers of Udmurtia. The personnel of the company are over four thousand people.
The company pays great attention to funding socially important projects. For the 15 years of its existence, OAO Belkamneft jointly with OAO NK RussNeft allocated around 1.3 billion rubles for implementation of charity programs. For instance, with personal support of Mikhail Gutseriev, Institute of Oil and Gas at the State University of Udmurtia was established, ten modern reanimation ambulances were purchased for medical institutions of the republic, four minibuses were purchased for sportsmen of the republic. 10 temples were built and restored. For more than 10 years, OAO Belkamneft has been the general sponsor of Belkammotosport children sport school where over 600 children learn to ride sport motorcycles.
