OAO NAK AKI-OTYR continues implementation of the environmental program
Khanty-Mansiysk. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR (subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft) will allocate 516.5 million rubles to implement the environmental program in 2012 which is eightfold against 2011.
The money will be allocated to activities on protection and reasonable utilization of the natural resources. Among them 458.5 million rubles are intended for protection and reasonable utilization of the atmospheric air including activities for the associated gas utilization. One of the priorities of the 2012 program is implementation of the ecological monitoring of the environment conditions in the areas of the company’s activities. Around 3.4 million rubles will be spent for the purpose.
According to the approved schedule, the ambient air conditions are monitored in the operation sites. Eight air samples have been studied since the beginning of the year. All the activities are governed by clauses of the federal, regional and industrial laws in the environment and reasonable utilization of the natural resources.
OAO NAK AKI-OTYR is part of the corporate structure of one of the ten major oil companies of Russia – OAO NK RussNeft. Compliance with obligations, standards and regulations in HSE according to the International Standards Management System ISO 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 is part of the extensive HSE policy of OAO NK RussNeft. Implementation of the environmental activities will be continued in 2012.
