Knanty-Mansiysk. RussNeft (PTC: RUSN) in 2012-2013 plans to invest $200 million in the realization of a program aimed at achieving a 95% level of associated petroleum gas utilization at all oilfields, said the Company’s Vice-President for geology, development and gas projects Andrey Shegimago to journalists.
“Gas program is designed to ensure that in 2013 the entire group of enterprises and oilfields has a 95% level of APG utilization”- he said. The V ice-President noted that the current year it is planned to invest more than $100 million on this program and similar amount next year.
“But we are not going to stop in 2013 here. We will continue our gas program methodically, but not in the current volumes” – added A.Shegimago. At oilfields of Shapshinskaya group the APG utilization level will reach 95% already in June, 2012.
It was reported that the government had decided to move from January 1, 2012, at a 95% level of useful utilization of associated gas, though many of the companies have not been able to reach this level.
